Description
Two claw hubs mesh through a multi-lobe elastic element that is loaded in compression. The element cushions starting shock, damps vibration and takes up axial, radial and angular offset, so the coupling needs no lubrication. ML suits most medium-duty drives; NM gives a compact cam-ring design; FALK-R adds a cover for high torque.
