Description
Disc couplings transmit torque through thin stainless spring-steel laminations bolted alternately to each hub. The flexing disc packs take misalignment with no sliding parts, so there is no backlash, no wear and no lubrication. DJM uses one disc pack; SJM uses two packs with a spacer to take parallel offset and leave room between shaft ends.
